gas
Today was rather long and interesting. So this is gonna be a long and rather point-by-point account of most of the stuff that happened.

First half hour today was free block, so the class was just watching video or doing their own stuff. Halfway through the IPP bell rang and unfortunately our class had to go through the whole procedure making the toilet etc. So we taped the windows, doors and trash bags, made the toilet very quickly i must say, at least twice as fast as the class they showed on the live video. Why didnt they film our class, would have been the perfect example. Anyway, if this had been a gas attack, we would have died a slow death anyway coz we werent given enough tape to tape the trash bags over the windows. Furthermore, we couldnt run out of the room either right. So while waiting played charades(spelling?) etc, rather fun actually, quite rubbish. Then they finally allowed us to leave. But (un)fortunately, coz of the exercise we missed our recess and could make it up during our next class, so i missed chinese as well =).

I didnt know congress sections could be that interactive. As in, we could be so engaged in it. It was bout core and merit ccas. Really didnt know that there was so much controversy over this issue, maybe coz im not really affected by it. Some feel that the core merit thing should be scrapped coz it defeats the purpose of ccas where students should pursue what they are interested in rather than be forced to join a core cca. On the other hand, some feel that the system is needed to ensure sufficient number of people in each cca. On that point, the problem is rather two-way isnt it. Like without the system, core ccas might have not enough people. But with the system, merit ccas wont have enough people coz pupils do not get enough recognition or incentives for joining the second cca. At least for gym now it's not that bad. The quota's bout 10 or 12 sec 1s if im not wrong. But normally we end up with about 4 or 5 in sec 4 which is probably more practical coz it means everyone gets to compete in the competition. Im kinda worried though, this year's sec 1s are good, both physically doing gym and in interest if you get what i mean, but im not sure if that can last for the future generations of sec 1s. It's quite difficult to get primary 6 gymmers into rgs coz they're often scared that they cannot cope or cannot make it in etc. Just hope gym can continue to do well.

Moving on, my only class today was physics since chinese class was missed and i would be missing geog later. For earlier part today went to test or parachute which was rather successful actually, 25 seconds at its longest. Though i think the one yesterday might have been better, never know. There was this group's parachute which was very good actually, but kinda jinxed. First time it floated for bout 30s or so i heard, until it landed on the top of a tree. After they somehow got it down and tried again, the wind carried it up to the roof. Fortunately the wind got it down or something. But later on it couldnt go much longer than 20 something seconds. But it was really good. Umm...another group tied a small giraffe toy onto their parachute. Hehe cute.

Later on, i missed the tourism class coz of south zone colours award ceremony which was really efficient. There were, let's see, bout 500 over recipients, and the whole ceremony lasted only bout an hour. But in order to make that happen, they didnt read out the names of those who received the prize for the first time, just flash the names on the screen. Three seconds on stage, and u go back to your seat =). As a matter of fact, i havent got my cert yet, got an empty scroll on stage which we returned later on. Oh met feline, my p6 track buddy at the reception and had a nice chat. It's nice to see people you havent met in a long long while. Talked bout p6 track memories, school, track now etc. Remember last time always go to her house before training, then played with here maltese then, hmm, forgot to ask her bout it.

Anyway, mum picked me up, fetched my sister from work, ate dinner at hans and went home. That's all..bye.
